Two young men have found a very interesting and exciting way to encourage people to recycle! Ashutosh Srivastava and Pranav Manocha, two final year students from Delhi University, have created a great concept out of the simple method of recycling and waste management.
The duo has designed an e-bin which can take care of the garbage disposal through automated means. To use the e-bin, you first have to register with the company. Next, you can dispose any inorganic waste in the bin. It takes only 20 seconds for the e-bin to segregate the waste and make way for 100 percent recycling solutions. It can segregate cans, bottles, glass as well as any inorganic waste.
Once the waste is segregated, you will get a code that you can redeem by dialling a number. Your rewards will be in the form of vouchers and gift cards that you can use at eating joints, for online shopping and in about 50 different ways.

The first four bins have already been installed in Delhi and the duo is planning to do the same in different cities across India in the next three years.
Known as We-Convert, the brand goes by the tag line of ‘Make Your Trash Count.’
If you are based in Delhi, do let us know if you’ve seen these e-bins and if you’ve started using them already.
